Sessions

Initial session: When we first meet we will discuss what brings you or your child to therapy, and what you hope for. I will be interested to find out about you as a person. It is a chance to gather other background information that may be relevant and for you to ask any questions. The relationship is an integral part of the work, so it is important it feels right to work together. The first session is an opportunity to explore this, too. As with other sessions, it will last 50 minutes.

I offer short or long term work and we can agree this in the first session.

Short term work allows us to focus on specific, current issues or times of difficulty, with managing emotions or it negotiating transitions – e.g. a return to work.

Long term work offers the opportunity to explore your life story more deeply, including the impact of past events and patterns of relating or behaving. It offers the chance to heal trauma and find purpose and meaning.

Regular Sessions: Once we have agreed to work together we will meet at the same time each week, for 50 minutes.

Cost:

All sessions are charged at:£60.00 for individuals, £75.00 for couples

Payment is by cash or cheque at the end of each session.

Location: I have two practices in central Brighton.
